Mental Forest Meditation

Begin to breathe with intention. Pause at the end of your exhales, observing the stillness there. Turn Inward Turn your attention inward. What does the inside of your mind feel like? Be mindful of the speed of your thoughts, do you allow them to move too quickly? Are your habitual thoughts productive and meaningful? Are you aware of your emotional state at all times, regulating its role in your life? Spend a moment breathing deeply and slowly, and meditating on the state of your internal self. Visualize Now that you are aware of your internal being, you may allow your mind to clear. Awareness is all that you need to ask of yourself right now. Allow your mind to melt into these words. Heart Chakra Healing

The heart chakra is also called Anahata, meaning "unhurt, unstruck, and unbeaten" in Sanskrit. When your heart chakra is in balance, you are connected with your sense of empathy, love, and forgiveness. You open yourself to the world with love, but you know when to close or limit your energy. You are mindful of what has hurt, stuck, and beaten you, and you cleanse yourself of it. You have lowered the boundaries in your mind and soul. You choose how you react to and process pain. You are in control of your suffering. The color of the heart chakra is green, reflecting the life-force of nature. All things may be healed, understood, and regrown. You are ever-flowing, ever-changing.  Anahata is the center of love, both for oneself and the world. Living in love will bring inner peace. New Moon Meditation

Darkness cannot long be hidden. Stagnation will be transformed into motion. You are near awakening, now are your final moments of slumber.  Use this time well. Be Peaceful Allow every breath that you take to be meaningful. Inhale into the depths of your diaphragm, feeling the fresh air pouring effortlessly through your body like a cooling waterfall in summertime.  Exhale slowly, knowledgeably, like the growth of thick mosses on the exposed roots of a redwood tree.  Be with the world around you, can you sense the earth? Do you move with the flow of the universe? There is a constant motion, present in all natural things. Thumbprint Sugar Cookies

Ingredients:  2 & 3/4 cups all purpose flour 1 tsp baking soda 1/2 tsp baking powder 1/2 tsp  salt 1 cup unsalted butter 1 cup & 2 tbsp granulated sugar 2 tbsp brown sugar 1 large egg 2 tsp vanilla extract jam (of your choice) Instructions: 1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit. Line your baking sheet with parchment paper or grease with butter, oil, or nonstick cooking spray. 2. Mix together flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt in a bowl. Set aside for later. (These are your dry ingredients.) 3. Cream together sugars and butter in a large bowl, mixing on medium speed until the mixture is light in color and fluffy.   4. Add egg, then vanilla extract and mix well. 5. Add dry ingredients to large mixing bowl, mix until thick and not sticky. Do not over blend, too much mixing will make your cookies tough. 6. Roll dough into balls, of about a 1-2 inch diameter, roll them in a sprinkle of granulated sugar, and set on your baking sheet. 7. With clean hands, press a thumbpr

Your power is surging. Everything is falling into place. The change is coming. Can you feel it?   Sink Into Your Eternal Being Focus on the sensation in the center of your chest. Feel, in the core of your body, a pinprick of warmth. Visualize the warmth as a tiny point of white light, shining out from the center of your chest. Now, understand that the light deserves to grow, to shine throughout your entire being and into the universe. Watch and feel the vibrant light glowing, pouring its warmth outwards into your body, a pure sensation flowing through your torso, your limbs, and finally out through the crown of your head and the soles of your feet.
