The Logic of Manifestation

Some days I feel the time slipping away from me, and wonder how I managed to get absolutely nothing done.
Days like these are risky, and sometimes lead to getting stuck in a rut of non-doing, so recently I have begun manifesting as a way of staying in line with my goals.
What is "manifestation"?
Manifestation as a practice is about willing what you desire into existence.
Historical mention of manifestation can be found within ancient Buddhist and Christian texts, most notably in the Buddha's words:
"All that we are is a result of what we have thought."

The practice of manifestation has an uncertain origination story, leading some to suspect that knowledge of its power is engrained in the subconscious of the human mind.
Perhaps we have always known to some extent that we mold our own reality.
In concept, those who practice manifestation believe that by focusing your energy and attention on a goal, you will reach that goal more easily. Unfortunately, shallow representations of manifestation reign supreme online, with many boasting simple visualization techniques as good ways to manifest, and others even profiting off of selling "manifestation jars" and other trinkets which promise to aid in your practice and help you obtain your intentions more quickly.
As anyone who has tried buying a $10 jar of herbs off of Etsy and pouring it in their bathtub in the hope that a pile of money would show up under their pillow can attest - manifestation is not totally reliable.
However, much of the unreliability of the practice is merely an effect of misinterpretation.
There is a certain amount of logic involved in manifestation that is unavoidable.

The Logic of Manifestation
There is simple validity to the logic of focusing all your energy on one goal.
As you tune in to your desires, you become more conscious of where they fit into your life. If you bring your attention consistently to your goals, then there is a high likelihood that you will start doing things automatically within your daily life that help you reach them.
Manifestation is not about just conceptualizing and visualizing, but moving.
The true power of manifestation comes into play when you take action within your life while operating from a core of awareness and intent.
Logically speaking, the more aware you are of the circumstances surrounding your actions and what you hope to achieve, the more likely you are to make decisions that bring you success.
You drift closer to self-actualization the more conscious you become.

How is manifestation prevalent to a cottagecore lifestyle?
Well, the cottagecore aesthetic at its base is all about life in the rural countryside. However, the idealistic, peaceful atmosphere found within the aesthetic is often met with criticism from the public due to its unrealistically passive nature.
After all, the cows can't milk themselves.
Baking bread for the week, planting a vegetable and herb garden, sewing a dress, going on a picnic...all of these seemingly simple things take a ton of work! Even waking up early to experience a slow, golden sunrise can take more effort than you anticipate.
Manifesting your goals on a daily basis helps you direct your flow of energy
Life is movement.
Focusing on where and why you are moving is vital.
In everything you do, figure out your direction. Only when you are fully conscious of your actions and motivation will life feel fulfilling.
Your interactions with the world are precarious if you do not focus intently on them. You must be wary of your impact on life around you, and ensure that you are a positive force in the universe by moving and thinking with purpose.
The world unfolds itself before you, do not let it be in vain.
Do not wander blindly through the universe.

Lessons From Weeding

Everywhere, the weeds are pushing their spiny way out of the soil. They are going to seed, and their invasive growth must be fought back. There is a lot to learn from this experience, no matter how tiresome it may seem.   Lessons From Weeding As I kneel, ever-nearer to the soil, my eyes scan the surrounding growth to determine what belongs and what must be removed.  There is a mixture of invasive plants amongst flowers and grass, and I must take care to differentiate between them all. The weeds threaten to overcome everything in their path. It is my duty to hold them off for the season. In certain parts of my yard, I will be needing to do more work than just pulling by hand.   Some tangles and briars prove themselves too tough for my gloves. However, I move steadily on, focusing only on the weeds that I have the ability to remove.  It serves no immediate purpose to entertain the question of how to do what I cannot. I do not allow my mind to be caught up in ponde...

Heart Chakra Healing

The heart chakra is also called Anahata, meaning "unhurt, unstruck, and unbeaten" in Sanskrit. When your heart chakra is in balance, you are connected with your sense of empathy, love, and forgiveness. You open yourself to the world with love, but you know when to close or limit your energy. You are mindful of what has hurt, stuck, and beaten you, and you cleanse yourself of it. You have lowered the boundaries in your mind and soul. You choose how you react to and process pain. You are in control of your suffering. The color of the heart chakra is green, reflecting the life-force of nature. All things may be healed, understood, and regrown. You are ever-flowing, ever-changing.  Anahata is the center of love, both for oneself and the world. Living in love will bring inner peace. Center The heart chakra is at the center of your seven chakras, with three below and three above. It is located in the center of your chest, and relates physically to the breasts, lungs, heart, thymus ...
